Case Study: Garage Floors 4 Less
This garage floor coating vehicle wrap case study documents how Garage Floors 4 Less, a Mississauga-based garage floor coating and organization company, coordinated fleet branding across four completely different vehicle platforms, Fiat 500 city cars, a GMC Sierra pickup, enclosed cargo trailers, and Ford Transit box trucks, to build a unified brand presence that drove 127% revenue growth and expansion from regional Ontario operations to a Canada-wide service territory.
The garage flooring fleet wrap in Mississauga project is one of the most complex multi-platform wrap programs we’ve completed. Branding a Fiat 500 alongside a box truck requires a modular design system that scales across radically different vehicle sizes while maintaining instant brand recognition. This case study shows how we solved that challenge. Browse all our vehicle wrap case studies to see more projects.
The Challenge: Unifying a Mixed Fleet Across Radically Different Vehicle Platforms
Garage Floors 4 Less came to us with a branding challenge unlike most fleet projects. Their operation runs a mixed fleet that includes a compact Fiat 500 for city appointments, a GMC Sierra pickup for site work, enclosed cargo trailers for equipment transport, and Ford Transit box trucks for large installations. Without coordinated garage flooring company vehicle branding, each vehicle looked like it belonged to a different company.
The specific challenges were unique to this mixed-fleet scenario:
- Extreme platform diversity
– The Fiat 500 has approximately 30 square feet of wrappable surface. A Ford Transit box truck has over 200 square feet of cargo space. The GMC Sierra sits between. Designing a brand system that reads clearly on all three platforms, without looking stretched on the truck or cramped on the Fiat, required a modular approach that most wrap shops don’t attempt.
- Multi-service communication
– Garage Floors 4 Less offers a wide range of services: concrete repairs, epoxy coatings, garage doors, slat walls, car lifts, cabinets, flooring, and storage solutions. Communicating this service breadth on a compact Fiat 500 demanded a completely different layout strategy than the box truck’s expansive sidewalls.
- Dual brand identity
– The company operates under both the Garage Floors 4 Less and FloorX2 brand names, with the tagline “Great Service. Great Floors.” Both brands needed to appear on every vehicle in a hierarchy that reinforces recognition without creating confusion.
- National growth ambitions
– The company was expanding from Mississauga-based local operations to serving clients across Ontario and Canada-wide. The fleet branding needed to project the scale and professionalism of a national operation, not a small local contractor.
Our Solution: Modular Multi-Platform Fleet Wrap System
We designed and executed a coordinated garage floor coating, van wrap and fleet branding program across all vehicle platforms, building a modular design system with consistent yellow-white-black colour blocking that adapts to every vehicle size while maintaining instant brand recognition. Design Strategy: One Brand System, Four Vehicle Platforms
The design centres on the Garage Floors 4 Less logo in its distinctive rounded-rectangle lockup, paired with bold yellow colour fields, the FloorX2 sub-brand, and the “Great Service. Great Floors.” tagline. Our garage flooring company fleet graphics system uses a modular layout in which core brand elements maintain fixed proportions while supporting content, service lists, contact details, imagery, and scales based on available panel space.
On the Fiat 500, the service list (Concrete Repairs, Epoxy Coatings, Garage Doors, Slat Walls, Car Lifts, Cabinets) runs vertically on the rear quarter panel with the phone number 416.209.6943, maximizing readability on the compact body. On the box trucks, the same services appear as horizontal category blocks alongside a large product photography panel showing a finished garage floor, leveraging the truck’s 200+ square feet of sidewall for high-impact roadside advertising.
Every design was built in Adobe Illustrator using dimensionally accurate templates for each vehicle platform. The GMC Sierra received tailored panel layouts for the cab, bed sides, and canopy that carry the yellow-white-black scheme with FloorX2 branding. See how we approach vehicle graphics and design.
Material Selection
We specified 3M IJ180 cast vinyl with Comply™ air-release adhesive across the entire fleet. The Fiat 500’s compound curves around the rear hatch, fender arches, and mirror housings demand a highly conformable 2-mil film, the same specification required for the box truck’s flat sidewalls and the Sierra’s bed-side contours. Paired with 3M 8518 gloss laminate for UV protection and scratch resistance, the system delivers 8–10 years of outdoor durability across all platforms.
For a garage organization truck branding fleet that carries heavy equipment, epoxy sprayers, concrete grinders, slat wall panels, and cabinet hardware, abrasion resistance around cargo access points is critical. The 3M 8518 laminate protects graphic integrity at door edges and loading zones where equipment contact is daily.
Production & Fleet Coordination
Each vehicle type required its own production run, separate print layouts, panel cuts, and installation schedules. The Fiat 500 was completed in 2–3 business days due to its compact size. The GMC Sierra took 3–4 days. Box trucks required 4–5 days each due to their large panel areas and scaffold-assisted upper-panel installation. The enclosed cargo trailer required a separate production template designed around riveted aluminum sidewalls.
All vehicles were wrapped on a staggered schedule to maintain operational capacity. Production files and Pantone colour references were documented so future fleet additions, additional box trucks, replacement vehicles, or new platforms receive matched branding with identical colour output.
The Results: 127% Revenue Growth and Canada-Wide Expansion
The coordinated fleet wrap program delivered a measurable business impact that exceeded the client’s projections:
- 127% revenue growth
– Garage Floors 4 Less tracked substantial revenue increases that corresponded directly with the fleet branding rollout. The combination of a highly visible box truck on highways, a branded pickup at residential job sites, and a wrapped Fiat 500 in city traffic created a multi-touchpoint brand presence that accelerated customer acquisition.
- Canada-wide expansion
– The professional fleet branding gave Garage Floors 4 Less the visual credibility to expand from Mississauga and Ontario regional operations to serving clients across Canada. The branded fleet projects the scale and professionalism of a national operation, a critical perception shift that opened doors to larger commercial contracts.
- Multi-touchpoint brand recognition
– Homeowners and commercial clients reported seeing the distinctive yellow Garage Floors 4 Less branding on multiple vehicle types across different contexts, such as the box truck on the highway, the Fiat in a neighbourhood, and the Sierra at a job site. Each sighting reinforced the others, compounding brand recall far beyond what any single vehicle could achieve.
- Service breadth communication
– The detailed service lists on each vehicle (Concrete Repairs, Epoxy Coatings, Garage Doors, Slat Walls, Car Lifts, Cabinets, Flooring, Storage) expanded customer awareness beyond just floor coating. Clients began requesting slat wall installations, cabinet systems, and car lifts after seeing the full service menu on the vehicles.
The plumber truck wrap Mississauga project turned Delex Plumbing’s Sprinter fleet from functional service vehicles into the company’s most productive marketing assets, generating emergency calls, building neighbourhood trust, and reducing dependence on paid advertising across every route in their five-region territory.

What This Project Demonstrates
The Garage Floors 4 Less case study illustrates several principles that apply to any garage floor coating, vehicle wrap, or mixed-fleet branding project:
Mixed fleets require modular design systems
A brand system that works on a Fiat 500 and a box truck simultaneously requires intentional modularity, with fixed brand elements and flexible supporting content. Piecemeal vehicle-by-vehicle design creates visual inconsistency that undermines fleet recognition.
Diverse vehicle types create multi-context visibility
A compact car reaches city streets and residential driveways. A box truck dominates highway corridors. A pickup works at job sites. Each vehicle type reaches audiences the others miss, and coordinated branding ensures that every sighting reinforces the same brand.
Service breadth sells better on vehicles
Garage Floors 4 Less discovered that listing their full service range on the fleet expanded customer awareness and generated cross-selling opportunities that digital marketing hadn’t achieved. Vehicles communicate service breadth passively and continuously.
Fleet branding signals national credibility
The coordinated yellow-white-black fleet gave Garage Floors 4 Less the visual authority to compete at a national level. Professional fleet branding is one of the fastest ways to project scale beyond the company’s actual size.
